+ CLIENT WORK: Sony's Dawson's Creek Interactive Desktop

This award winning site is the ulitmate in interaction! Every week the site features a different character from the WB show Dawson's Creek and users can launch a character's computer screen on thier own computer so fans can read their papers, emails, chat room conversations and even the documents they throw into their trash cans!

Each Character has their own theme and style of desktops made exclusively with photoshop. Dawson has a brown photorealistic theme, Joey has an artistic or painterly looking image, Jen has a modern purple look, etc. Each week a character has a completely new desktop that matches their theme but relates to the events on the show.

The best thing about the site is the continuity of the content with the show. After a fan watches the most recent episode on TV, they can go to the site to gather more information about what the character thinks about what has happened. The Flash journal has been designed to be animated and to match each character's theme. The site is up the entire season and when it's over, there is a supplement called "Dawson's Summer Diaries" which I have designed as well. It's fun to use, hip and totally cool to the age group that it caters too!

This site has been one of the most successful of Sony's interactive projects and was awarded an Addy citation of excellence. Check out this article that is a critical writeup of the site!
